RFI GS Security Specialist

A friend of mine is looking for info about GS jobs listed as "Security Specialist" for DOD/DON. They range from GS7- GS12.

My thoughts are that those jobs are for DOD Police positions. Can anyone provide insight into that?

Thanks, Bob.

Should be a four digit job series code in the vacancy announcement that will provide more info.

I think our G3 anti-terrorism/force protection guy is called a security specialist.

Our actual G2 security folks are GG, not GS. On the Army side (I don't know about others), the GGs are all managed through the Huachuca CPAC, and it's painfully slow.
