Vintage M-49 100% proceeds to SOCNET
This isn't an arms room dolly. I drug this thing about for around a decade and a half. Optics quality fair, hey, it's an M49. Complete with grungy, beat up camo job and vintage 80's hose clamp. Front and rear scope caps both present. I have the plastic tube for the scope, but not the canvas bag for the tripod. I'll cover shipping, all proceeds to SOCNET. One week auction, bid away. I'm sure I watched Sharky miss more than a few times thru this old bitch.

It was the only game in town for a LONG time. I have no idea how many hundreds of hours I have staring thru an M49.

Done a fair amount of that too. Wake up every 15 minutes and move the walker around so the studs think you're watching. You can get serious when they start shooting.

It was and served its purpose. I can think back on how many times I had to take it apart because the prism fell out of the support strap on the inside and you would see double or some weird visual or nothing at all or the main lens fell out of the tube or the lens cover cross threaded and you couldn't get it off or to stay on LOL.

It work for us back in the day but I am glad the boys now have a descent working spotting scope. With that said I would like to have one on the wall for nostalgic reasons.
