Nah, the recruiter sits 3 offices down from me, I just asked him the other day.

They are fast tracking TS cleared canditates. The paperwork is pretty much the same minus the additional HRP stuff.

The process is still going to take a while to get your interview and the such.

I've been hearing about reciprocity agreements between DoD and DOE for quite some time. It's good to know that they finally got that straightened out :)

BTW - Didn't you teach that break-contact drill in the recruitment video?

I noticed there is no Bachelors degree requirement listed in the qualifications and requirements section? Is this the case or did I miss something? That would be an outstanding job. A fed job where I actually meet exactly what they are looking for. Hmmmmm, do they have aircraft?

Your correct. You do not need a degree. From what I have been told by friends (who work for the NNSA) and by the men who interviewed me in NM many men don't have degrees but take on-line classes to get one. Like any job I believe a degree always betters your chances. They do have aircraft also....I'd say go for it, put your application in. Good job and good pay. Although there are more knowledgeable men on this site than I. Maybe they will help answer your question better if I was unable to.

It looks like they may do interviews at Lawrence Livermore Lab in CA? Or do you have to go to NM?

A degree is irrelevent to the job possition. It will help you later on when you advance, but again, it's not a requirement.
