SWCS student here. Been in 5 years and have spent all of my short career between Bragg and Campbell. Personally, there is no comparison and couldn't be happier to be back to Bragg. I enjoy the topics this site discusses and look forward to contributing as well. Thanks again

Daniel

Hey all, I am a current nuke on a fast attack submarine. I've been in for about 4 years, I'm interested in the EOD community but my NEC (3354) has me tied to the nuclear fleet. Thanks all for the current help.

Introduction from Wildboar

Good afternoon Gentlemen,
I apologize for the late post after registering. I am a former Marine turned Army Infantryman. Nothing special just a regular leg that currently retired. I just landed my first gig as a Protective Security Specialist/ Senior Guard Supervisor with a PMC. I attend school at the end of May. I look forward to any insight and advice those experienced guys offer on the various related posts. Thanks for having me gents.

Welcome aboard navynuke. Do a good search of the site and you'll find several good threads on NEC transfers to Navy EOD and general EOD discussions. Good luck!

Introduction

Good Morning Everyone,

I'm a Quartermaster in the Navy currently serving in a unit out of Little Creek,VA and 5th Fleet. I am a reservist now, but did 4 years active on board 2 amphibs, the USS Nassau LHA-4 which I decommed and the USS Iwo Jima LHD-7. Had the pleasure of working with quite a few SEALs, SWCC guys and even some Night Stalkers last deployment. Had to leave active duty and regret it every day, hoping to get back in the fight and go SWCC. Went back to school though and finishing up my degree this year, so maybe it was meant to be that way for now. I appreciate all of you and stay safe!

Good Morning, Yes even us old devildogs enjoy reading all the latest and greatest community news. Never spent hardly any time with a team. A Co (Tng Co) 2nd Recon Bn back in late 70's, BRC at littlecreek and good ole Ft Story, scuba school in Subic, only a five jump chump, never got my gold wings I got into a serious disagreement with a certain E5 and got busted back to the grunts on mainside. Then after ten years did this try one thing with the MDANG 1/158 Cav LRS, Up at camp Arron Strauss and Shipley DZ, LMAO a 32 year old PFC, Still remember the night our team ordered a pizza from the top of the mountain! LOL Anyway thanks for having me, You guys who are still active, keep doin what you do and us old farts will keep reading about it!

I am a recently commissioned U.S. Army Infantry Officer, Active Duty.

As a cadet I went to Air Assault and did Cadet Troop Leader Time (CTLT) as a PL for a maintenance platoon at Camp Casey, Korea (2ID) in 2013.

I am heading to IBOLC in the next few days then onto Airborne and Ranger school. After my initial training I am heading to 1-4 IN in Hohenfels, Germany (JMRC,OPFOR).

Hi people.

I was in the US Army, MOS 31V. Basic and AIT at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma and after that I was stationed at Ft. Polk, Louisiana. Honorable discharge ETS in 1992. I have read a whole lot in the various forums here, I don't have much to contribute so you won't be seeing many posts by me, I mostly just like to read.

Thank you for accepting me in SOCNET. I am recently retired after 27 years in SOF. A friend recommended I join this community to stay in touch with fellow veterans. I look forward to the opportunities to continue to serve, as it takes a network to defeat a network! Cheers

Hello There Everybody
I was a SWCC for 5 and a half years. Been around the world a couple times with some great operators. Ive trained with major tier 3-1 groups under socom and special tactics groups in law enforcement around California. I respect all sides.
Looking more towards the private sector side of things now.

Congrats on your retirement, it seems like just yesterday we were running around Savannah and Tybee! It's great to see you here, stand-by for a PM with instructions for getting vetted for the 75th Forum.
