Just about anything with NOAA can fit that description. Best of luck to you!

I've still got an active application going for another -- I suppose equally prestigious -- dot-gov agency. Haven't been called in for an interview (yet), although that window's remaining open for a few more weeks and, from feedback I'm receiving from several fellow applicants who have gotten the call, the interviews at this iteration are very short-notice. My references were contacted, so unless/until I receive word to the contrary, I'm still in the running. In the worst case, there's always next time -- at least I'm already in the right geographic area!

Is it just me or did USAjobs get a new update? Recently tried to sign in but had to create a whole new profile with 2 factor authentication and multiple other safeguards for login. Interesting.

Is it still the same old same with the auto-qualifications run through a computer? AKA: copy/paste the quals/requirements somewhere in your resume to make it passed the filter to someone’s actual desk?

USAjobs did get a facelift recently. I applied for an Electrician Job at the VA hospital. It is at referral. Been there a long time.
My neighbor worked at the VA hospital in Wisconsin, and moved to SC. Took him 10 months to get in here. He is a Nurse.. 10 months, and they are always asking for Nurses.

An attempt at trying to keep the data safe in an era of hackers being real good.
