I lived there for almost 20-years and its where I met my wife and we started our family. Are you staying downtown or in the burbs? Downtown has nothing really to see. The only night life is over in the East & Park Avenues area. There are also some decent restaurants on Park, one of my favorites is a small Thai place, Essan, which is across from the CVS. Sorry to say but there is not much else to do in the first week of February, besides hoisting a few Genesee screamers. However, I loved living there in the spring, summer, and fall as there are plenty of outdoor activities, especially in the nearby Fingerlakes region. Then again, there's always the Wegmans in Pittsford, which was always a tourist stop for our out-of-town visitors. I'd say go for a Garbage plate at Nick's at 3:00 am as that was a people watching event, but I understand it's now closed. Anyway, have fun and safe travels.

Reddevil is from Rochester and may still be there and have some availability. He's a good dude that I can vouch for.

Yeah, I'm still in Rochester - at least for the next few years until I plan my escape. I am in the Park Avenue area where I continue to build dossiers on my University professor neighbors and they add me to watch lists and post pictures of my on antifa FB groups. All kidding aside, there is a handful of things to do and plenty of places to eat. Just don't bring any weapons, things that look like weapons, swear words, bad intentions, plastic, good ideas, honesty, common sense, or thoughts here, as they will be confiscated. Why the hell are you coming here?
