And I was told today that NSW Recruiting Det. Little Creek is training up a female Marine Captain to prep her for BUD/S next year.

Before you guys ask--I haven't seen her, so I don't know if she's hot!

Huh? Why not a female Navy officer? Is it common to have other Marine officers attend BUD/S?

Good bet that some of the first female BUD/S candidates will come from the Navy EOD community.

No, this is not an endorsement of that COA, just probably the only community right now where females can be diver/ MFF qualified and be expected to perform in those capacities. You can bet there are several that only went EOD because they were barred from BUD/S and will cross deck ASAP.

No, I do not think they belong in either community. Just commentary.
