Robert (Doc) Ingram

Had an opportunity to meet Bob Ingram today and what a great chance it was. I got to hear a little about everyone at 1/7 except for Bob of course. It was really cool to have gotten an introduction to Major General (then Colonel) Oscar Peatross from Doc firsthand. If you are not familiar with that Marine's career look him up it's just unreal. In the spirit that these guys exude everyone gets the credit but them. Don't ever say win, won, or earned the medal, only awarded or received (noted). They put the emphasis on "team" and it makes anything you ever claimed to be or say you are look positively ridiculous in hindsight.

Been seeing Bob Ingram for years now getting my annual flight physical. Still serving in medicine, been working as an RN at a clinic just around the corner from my house. Just saw him again yesterday for renewal. Great to talk to him and sounds like he may be officially retiring soon.
