Muskogee VA has 3-5 parking places marked just for oncology patients, about 50 feet from the door they use.

Jeffrey Skilling was released from prison today, former CEO of Enron. It’s a shame he didn’t follow Kenneth Lay’s lead.

Getting home from a long crap week at work, and looking forward to spending the whole week off at the park with my dog

I have been feeling guilty for being gone so much. Fast forward to the evening. Took her to the emergency vet because we thought she tweaked her hindquarters only to find out she is dying from a mass that burst and has internal bleeding.

We have decided to see if surgery can help.
Now the long wait through the night.

Sorry... just had to vent. I don't deal well when it comes to my animals.

I don't think anyone does. They're like kids. Except you dont have to buy them expensive cell phones.

I've lost my share. Sometimes up to 16 yrs. That's a long time to have a buddy.

But I keep doing it again.

I hope the ole gal pulls through. I'm rooting for her.

A Prayer from St. Francis:

Saint Francis of Assisi, for our Animal Friends

Heavenly Father, our human ties with our friends of other species is wonderful and special gift from You. We now ask You to grant our special animal companions your Fatherly care and healing power to take away any suffering they have. Give us, their human friends, new understanding of our responsibilities to these creatures of Yours. They have trust in us as we have in You; our souls and theirs are on this earth together to give one another friendship, affection, and caring. Take our heartfelt prayers and fill Your ill or suffering animals with healing Light and strength to overcome whatever weakness of body they have.

I know how you feel. I've been working overseas and last weekend we had to put my 9 yr old lab mix down because of cancer. That was really hard. I hope everything works out for you!

Yeah, not a lot of hoopla about these "white collar" criminals.

They need to be burned at the stake.

Got more respect for the old fashion stick-up man than I do for white collar criminals.

I'm with top, never liked that Maher guy.

He is a product of a society where you can say what you want without the fear of receiving a throat punch for it. I suspect he wouldn’t be so open about his opinions if it wasn’t that way.

Ever seen the video of him advocating for a relationship between a 35 year old teacher and 14 year old student? They had two kids together. At the time, his production company was named “Kid Love Productions.”

Do the math on this guy, he sucks.

Smarmy and pretentious are the two traits that irritate me the most.

Courseware managers that just can't or won't use the ratio of two ears to one mouth and who, because of their parochialism, will cost a vendor their profit margin because, well, stupidity.
