Roma's. She cans them. Canning tomatoes almost killed her last year.

Amazingly the bears nor deer have ever bothered them. They fuck up everything else around here, but they leave the berries alone.

I've been picking for two weeks +. We will have blueberries into September this year. I've been to a private patch of about 1000 bushes and picked 20+ gallons. Iv'e given away most of those and have a few to freeze tomorrow.

I've only got 4 bushes, but they're big ones and produce well. All I need. Wonder how many individual blueberries are in 20 gallons? Somewhere between a shitload and a metric fuckton.

I have a rental property that I let the family grow about a 20x20. The good part is they give me all the cucumbers and a lot of the beans. They also can and jar but they've had some problems with the jarring this year and contamination.

Do any of you guys can and jar?

That's a bunch of berries. You ever make/drink wine from them? Nice looking beans too.

I started out and could fill my two gallon bucket in ~60 minutes. As the larger varieties petered out I had to pick smaller berries and it takes me 75-90 minutes to pick two gallons. Twice I have picked four gallons this year and I have been done by 0930 every time. I start at 0600 to beat the deer and horse flies.
