I havent been, but have been told that they have one of the best breaching courses out there. Or at least they did prior to it getting bought by Olive. I would go in a heartbeat if I had the slot.

Having looked at TEES hard over the past couple of years, I would tell you that if this were YOUR money, or you were taking this course in lieu of another -- and this meant you could not go to another -- then my comment would be you DON'T want to go.

Their breaching facilities are not bad, actually. But it appears to be a toss-up as to whether the instructor you get will be squared away.

In regards to the rest of the courses they offer -- IMO you definitely want to stay away....

TEES and Olive are 2 different companies.

There is a TEES that is running the same breaching related cres they did before Olive purchased the original TEES.

Nothing wrong with what they (the current TEES) teach. It's geared toward LEO's and has a very good rep within that community.

TEES= Texas A&M. Also do EMS, NFPA… Quite large. Heavily involved with North Carolina disaster training and development at the moment.

I'm not sure what you mean but TEES = TEES. Nothing to do with Texas A&M.

Sorry

TEES=Tactical Explosive Entry School (or something like) in West Memphis. TEEX= Texas Engineering Extension Service. I have trained at TEES and have been a range master at TEEX, two totally different org’s.

The Original T.E.E.S is GTG it is the brainchild of Alan Brosnan (12yrs Kiwi SAS) who has been around the training community for the past 25 yrs. He has worked with the BTDT types, he has a good rep in the LEO and Mil community. They also have a school in Brazil
