But in defense of the OP, having to get a medical waiver to get in these days, and even getting in is a challenge. The old days of recruiters hurting for business, and trying to make quotas is no longer the case.

Are there still Option 40 contracts available. My nephew wants to join but only has a GED. (Army is the best thing for him to get away and grow up)
He told me he wants to be a Ranger. I want to have all my ducks in a row before I walk into the recruiter with him. Ay help is appreciated.
