VLTOR MUR-1 upper mod
I am currently in the process of building a 300BLK, and wanted to put my Noveske 10.2 bbl into a Noveske upper receiver. Can't find any in stock, and no availability date.
 My next option is the VLTOR MUR-1. Aside from the fwd assist options, I noticed that there are two variations to the forward end of the receiver (where the barrel nut is located). One is blocked (squared / angular), and the other is blended and rounded. I don't want to buy one, and have to grind it just to get a rail to fit properly. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Is one model an updated version? Thanks, -JAFO

The one Vltor sells will fit most builds. I just built two uppers with the new Geissele rail and used them.
