R.I.P. Great One, and thank you for all of the entertainment and imagination for all the years. I do not know how popular he was in America, but if you see Tron or Alien or some other famous movie his artistic talent is present. Regards,

I grew up with his art, reading Heavy Metal in the 70's and early 80's. He was a visionary and helped inspire my young imagination.

Extraordinary Barracks Rat reading
Whilst stuck in IRF in Italy, on the back of a deuce and half in <fill in the blank>, Europe; and broke Sundays drinking beer in the room listening to Yes. Wild ass imagery, broken & strange characters and the reason I want to spend a day at the G. Pompideau Museum (it was freakin' closed the last time I was there
 )Heavy Metal was a class act back in the day... they should do a better movie now - a B&W animation segment of his style would be world class.
