2/75 Ranger KIA

SGT Cameron A. Meddock was KIA yesterday. He died of wounds sustained from small arms. He was evacuated to Germany and then succumbed to his injuries while surrounded by his family. He is survived by his Wife, and an unborn child due in May.

RIP Ranger. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. Thoughts and prayers out for his fellow Rangers and his family.

SGT Meddock is the first casualty in Afghanistan in 2019. We got the brief this morning from our PSG. I'm not a Ranger, but I appreciate that these guys are still hitting targets and getting after the enemy.

I wish we had some Rangers in my AO. I'd feel more comfortable knowing they were hitting targets and keeping the enemy on their heels.

I'm sure the fallen Ranger's teammates and fellow Rangers are gonna lay some hate. And I know my PSG wants to dish out a little hate as well.

RIP to the fallen Warrior

I hate hearing about anyone we lose, but this is the worst part, I think...knowing that their family is left with the hole in their lives. Hoping they will make it through the pain to a better place. Thank you for answering the call, Ranger.
