stretch

WOD - 4 rounds for time of:
440 run
15 x 75 # push press
10 pull ups
F'd up the stop watch so no time (est +/- 15:00)
6 hours later - 3 mile run in 23:21
First "two-a-day" in long time and I'm feeling it now.

Facial hair. That workout was a huge smoker. It might be the hardest one I've done to date. 6 X 6 muscle-ups just smokes your upper body.

DOnt even get me stared on the Goat...Im pissed. Day before yesterday, it was about a good ~3-3.5" in length, but I was growing out the beard when my wife had enough. She asked to shave me and she had out the shears, straddling over my leg (that was rather nice:D), and I even told her DONT GET TO CLOSE TO THE GOAT...Ill do that!

That picture was my final set of the day. Not sure which rep she caught, but that was during my 345 x 4 set.


I feel for ya. At least you have the ability to grow a good goat/beard (as do I). Most people don't have the enjoyment of growing some out like that haha.

345...that is a good weight. Admittedly, Im not to that level yet. Im at 295. I was watching some Marc Bartley vids on YouTube last night...that dude is a freak of nature. In the related vids on the side, a dude had posted 545# x 10. His last rep, he ripped his quad. Poor bastage! Now he has to get that bar back on the rack!

I should note that I'm in my squat briefs. I'm a bit light right now, so they fit a bit loose but I still get a good bit out of them.

You'll get the squat weight up eventually. The biggest thing that helped me was going over to http://www.elitefts.com and read all of their articles. Start from the oldest and work your way back. That site is THE place for strength athletes.

Row - 7

Used my brand new Gym Boss timer for the Tabatas. Great piece of gear and looking forward to using it for GPP conditioning.

This one was fun, especially for runners, like me. Makes 'Helen' look like cupcakes and puppies. I didn't keep time, but I finished in around 25 minutes.

5 rounds, no rest, for completion.
Swim 50meters (no fins)
15 pushups
15 body weight squats

It needs a third exercise, like situps or perhaps swapping the squats with KB swings.
