Canvas Boots

I have been unable to find a pair of boots pictured below either online or at any local shop. I have even requested special order and no such luck. I used to be able to buy a pair of these from the surplus stores around Camp Pendleton for $20-$30 bucks. Anyone know of a source for these?

Out of production, according to a couple of sites. Try this link though:

Thank you for the response sir. I tried those sites and either they do not have them in stock any longer or failed to respond.

I spoke to the local stores here which carry ridge boots and they contact the manufacturer and were not able to order any. I was hopeful that a surplus store may have generic types of these boots near a military installation.

Once again, thank you for the response.

I bought a pair of those out of the Sportsman's Guide about ten years ago; they were marketed as "Israeli combat boots". Not sure how true that apellation is, but they were comfortable and wore well...

If you just want canvas boots, and can do without the buckling shaft, Palladium makes a similar product: http://www.palladiumshoes.com/shoe/detail/58

Those buckles suck, anyway. I used to wear those in high school. After about two months of regular wear, the buckles start coming loose.

The Palladiums have better soles, too.

Palladiums are more than I would like to pay for "Chuck Taylor" military type boots. $90 is a fashion statement that I don't need to make.

Morelocks,

I found those Palladium styled boots for 18,95 Euros (about 24$) and the same without the buckles for 39,90 Euros (about 50$).

(also available in black).

If you should have any questions or need help ordering them, feel free to PM me.

EDIT: I think you might have gotten lucky. Extreme Outfitters has the Ridge Scorpions on closeout, $34.99:

MBTex, Le3, and Dan90 et. al.: Thanks for the excellent googlefu. I'll give one of those a shot.

FYI Dan90, the Ridge boots are out of stock for my size (12). Appreciate the look.

We used to were the Isreali boots for water ops. They were perfect in a dry suit.
