Fucking sad. That guy has been wondering around for years telling tall tales, ruining well-meaning persons perceptions of the military and military service. They're working on charging the Colorado guy too. Good, I hope they keep on exposing them.
When I joined the local VFW I brought in my BIR/BTR. I don't know what can be done across the board to limit the amount infiltration of organizations and groups. I guess we'll just listen skeptically to every dude that claims he was a Force Recon Seal Sniper Ranger Diver LRRP SF CCT PJ commando before he finished his four year term.

Is the display that is being driven around by this guy related to this website?
http://www.vvmf.org/index.cfm?SectionID=3 It seems doubtful, based on the 2009 schedule, that this particular display is driven around the country by more than one person. It's next scheduled stop is Oct 8-11. In Gettysburg, PA of all places.  http://www.vvmf.org/index.cfm?SectionID=719 Be nice if some SOCNET folks and other Vets in the area could be on hand to greet it.

They have a Contact link if anyone would be interested in emailing them. I for one would like to send them an email and ask if they have verified any of this guys story. Although I'm not a VN vet, as a Marine I find this guys story to be way out there and would like some sort of confirmation. Based on what I've heard and seen from this site and others, this guy is 99.9999% FOS. Maybe he did serve in some capacity. But it is impossible to do the things he states he has done in 4 years. Therefore, his embellishments far outweigh his service and for me he deserves to go down hard. He is a dishonor to the men he is trying to represent and it is desecrating to their memory by letting him continue to transport this wall.
