Shrinking attachments?
No, get you mind out of the gutter. It's not that cold...
![]() What I am talking about is when I attach a photo [IE: in the Motivational Posters thread] the photo shrinks to about half the size. Why is that? I am looking to see if there is a option to check or uncheck but I can't find it. I'll see if I can't recreate the problem in this post. The original is 640x919 & 94.5kb in size. It is a .jpg format I have also changed the extention to read .jpe to see if that makes a difference here in this post. Would the photo being larger than 640x480 cause it to automatically reduce the size rather than prevent to photo to post?

That's the right size...
![]() Since it won't let me repost the original file (says I've already posted it in "motivational poster"), this is the original post showing the size it took it down to: http://www.socnet.com/showpost.php?p...postcount=3786

Thanks for pointing out that this area isn't set to reduce the size of attachments like all the other areas are.
There's a reason it is set to do that and we'll rectify this oversight. |

Ha ha ha ha.. Okay, great. Glad I can be of help!
I see how the other pictures are larger now. They are hosted off site instead of being uploaded to SOCNET. Makes sense, otherwise SOCNET will have to get more storage or start deleting files... right?
