I never really interacted with Tripwire, but I always liked the fact that a guy his age was still so engaged and "with it". This is sad news, but man, what a run.

RIP Sir. Sad day.

You're going to be missed! RLTW! |
RIP sir and thank you for your service.

I think those of us who got to know him are truly better people for it. I got to know him first via SOCNET and PS. Then as I worked on a project with the RICA Rangers he shared some history and stories. Like a true Quiet Professional they were always about the unit, team, individuals but never really about himself as being the center of the story.
RIP Sir |

He always had good things to say here and on PS.com. Wish I would have met him in person. RIP. |

RIP, Sir.
I always enjoyed reading his posts, he had the kind of wisdom that can only come from broad experience. The world is a sadder place with his passing. |
RIP Tripwire. My thoughts and prayers out to the members of both the SF and the sherriff's department with whom he served; and to his family and friends. Tripwire had so much wisdom from such an amazing life and I am sorry for his passing.

My sincere condolences to your wife, family and all that knew you. Thank you for sharing a part of your life here with us.
RIP
Tripwire's sig line: [I]"All men dream: but not equally. I will miss you, Thomas. My life has been touched by you. I will never forget the history, stories and honor you bestowed on those who answer the call of duty. You humbled me and I am better for having known you. ~ Never forgotten, Ever honor ~

You were a giant amongst other big men. Men like him being on Socnet are a major part of what makes this place great. |

RIP Sir. What little I knew was here on SOCnet but your posts were much appreciated and unique to your perspective. Prayers to family, friends, and his other Brothers.

Are there any plans to send flowers to his funeral or some other gesture from the board?
|
Rest in Peace Tripwire!

RIP Tom.
We shared stories over vodka martinis one night. Actually he shared, I listened. He retired about the time I went to work at King County and we knew many of the same people. I will miss him. |
Rest easy, sir.
