I met Chris 10 years ago at BFFOC, he was struggling to get up off the deck after we qual'd at the 100 meter line. I went over to help him up and hold his rifle, he said, "Thanks...non of these other cock suckers would help a one legged mother fucker off the ground." We became friends right away, and continued to work together for quite some time.

In fact, he was actually the driving factor for me to start my own company. He and I were on the range one day bitching about pay, instructor benefits, etc. I said, it can't be that hard to pay a fair wadge and treat dudes with respect. I said, hell...I might just start my own gig, to which he replied, "You aint got a hair on your ass if you don't just start your own company."

My company is going on 7 years up and running and I owe a large part of that to him pressuring me to step outside of myself and make it happen.

Rest easy brother...

That's a hell of a memorial to someone.

Rest easy, sir.

Grace and peace to family, friends, and comrades-in-arms.
