RIP SSG Edwin H. Daza Chacon (former 3-325;1-508 ABCT and SOTA brother)
 

Staff Sgt. Edwin H. Daza Chacon was unfortunately killed on 13 FEB 2006 by an IED, just North of Deh Rawod in central Afghanistan. "D.C." was my squad leader back in 1995 in Vicenza (3rd PLT, C Co. 3-325 and 1-508(after we reflagged) ABCT) and we served in Bosnia together as part of the IFOR in the winter of 1995/1996. He was a great guy and will be missed. Rest in peace "D.C."

You can barely see him but that's "DC" in the middle, sitting in the door of the chopper (he's wearing a watch-cap).
