SERE was worth it with meeting Dan Pitzer and learning what happened to POWs in Viet Nam. After reading 5 years to freedom a hundred times, I could tell Dan was telling us don't do what Rocky did but glad too see CPT Versace finally recognized for his sacrifice and courage (name, rank, SSN, and F' with enemy).
