I got stuck (32 hrs) in ATL airport last year during one of the hurricanes, along with many soldiers going/ coming home for their two week R&R.
I was moved to tears every time any soldier entered the gate area
They recieved applause cheers and hugs just like that every where they went.
can not tell you how many ppl gave up their seats/flights to see the soldiers get the first flights out when the weather cleared.

It is one thing to see the video, and be moved, which is sweet, yet a totally different experience to see it first hand.
