Memorial Day 2005
Memorial Day 2005, is just two weeks away, and this afternoon I was thinking of the men and women who over the years have answered that call; you know the one, it's the same one we've all heard and answered.
The voice called, "Who'll go?" "Send me," was our reply and with our hands extended; we went and we returned. Many others also replied with hands extended, and theirs was answered with an eternal deployment. I ask us all to post the name of a lost shipmate, team mate, co-pilot, brother, lover, husband, wife, father, mother, uncle, aunt, son, daughter, friend, or soulmate. They're all special, missed, and heros. My shipmate and hero: GMC (DV,PJ,EOD) Joe Hendricks
