Guardians in Camouflage

This was written by Eva Anderson, the sister of LCDR Rock Blais. Rock had asked her to write a poem appropriate for Team guys.
Unfortunately, he never got to read it.

Guardians in Camouflage --

Fallen Heroes every one,
if not today, tomorrow?
Everyday could be the day
that brings their loved ones sorrow.

Find the men that are not honored,
Warriors on the run.
Hiding in the darkest shadows,
flying through the sun.

Pursuing harder, ever harder
one-focused goal in sight:
to be swift, in constant ready,
would they be called to fight.

Selfless toil that won't be told,
for our victory, strong and bold.
From their hearts it flows.
Of their spoils, their silent terrors,
only God will know.

Don't forget our fallen Heroes,
hear their silent cries:
"We have given our tomorrows,
for your very lives."

Many are the Heroes lost,
Freedom was their prize.
Dressed for battle, armed with weapons...
Angels in disguise.
