Amazing story... amazing life. Well deserved Sergeant Major.
As amazing as the story of his actions that led to him being awarded the Medal of Honor was, I was also impressed, while watching the ceremony, to see a combat jump device on his master wings, indicating he was also involved in one of the few combat jumps in Vietnam.
Balls of steel indeed.
