RIP Sir........
![]() Lurked for a long time on this site.......and there are some posters that I am always on the lookout for, as their input drives me into further critical thinking. Cass and SOTB were two of those that I would immediately stop and reread to process what they said. Two amazing giants who have left a big hole here and in our country. I've only met one person on here, yet everytime we lose one it feels like a kick in the gut. Fair winds and calm seas Cass. Your life was the epitome of honorable service. Thank you. |

I know that his wife was dealing with dementia and I'm certain you guys that are in the know already know, but for the rest of us --- can we help?

So just to clarify, that's why I asked. I had the idea that that's exactly how he'd want it. |

Cass was a salt of the earth type of guy... Always very supportive.
He sent me several PM's when our son completed BUD's. I know during that time he would visit his wife daily at the nursing home, as she had been admitted with alheimers. Did he survive her? Lost touch over the years... May this good man rest in peace.

Cass' recollections were one of the highlights of this site.
This place isn't the same without Cass and SOTB.

All,
This is a thread to memorialize a man who meant a great deal to this site. It's not for discussion of his private business or any snarky comments about others. |

Rip Cass.
Like everyone else, each time I saw a post by him in a thread, I always looked forward to whatever bit of knowledge, or humor he was adding to the discussion. |
