RIP-MSgt P. Bruce Pike

My Father-in-Law passed on Friday night.

Most guys get assholes in the Father-in-Law category, I got one of the coolest guys I ever met.

Bruce, served in the GA NG, before defecting to the Air Force. He was an in-flight crypto repairman, essentially he flew on RC-135s and other aircraft ensuring the crypto gear functioned. He speant most of his career at Kadena AB, Japan.

He also did a tour in Viet Nam, exposure to Agent Orange resulted in a 100% disability rating. But he didn't let it slow him down. Last August he flew to Scotland so he could walk my lovely bride down the aisle, and give me his last daughter.

He will be sorely missed.

Damn, sounds like a great guy. Sorry for your family's loss.

Do you know if he served at Tan Son Nhut Air Base (Vietnam)? My Dad was also in the Air Force and at that Air Base.
